Koskinou (7 km from Rhodes town)
At Koskinou, a listed traditional village, the houses have retained their Rhodian character with brightly painted metal or wooden doors in shades of red, light and dark blue and green, with carvings surrounded by intricate stone walls and archways and pilasters. They are the most important sight in the village. The houses are decorated with coloured ceramic plates and textiles while the courtyards and floors are covered with black and white pebbles.
